Leading UX and UI Design of the Travel eSIM App for World Mobile
I spearheaded the Product, UX, and UI Design for World Mobile’s Travel eSIM App, driving the project from concept to launch within a condensed timeline to achieve a 0-to-1 product milestone. My role focused on designing the app’s first MVP and laying the groundwork for future iterations.
Leading a team of three UX, UI, and visual designers, I collaborated closely with the founders, Creative Director, Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams. From initial brainstorming and paper sketches to high-fidelity prototyping, user testing, iterative improvements, building a robust design system, and overseeing implementation, I guided the project through every phase of development.
Wireframing and prototyping
I sketched initial concepts and mapped user journeys, ensuring ease of navigation and a frictionless experience. I then created low-fidelity wireframes to iterate quickly and test basic user flows before moving to high-fidelity prototypes for usability testing, iterating and refining, ensuring the app was intuitive and met user expectations.
Reaching wider audiences
The Travel eSIM app enables users to purchase, install and manage their World Mobile travel eSIMs on the go. Designed with accessibility in mind, it caters to users who are not familiar with web3 or crypto technologies, aligning with the business goal of reaching broader audiences. The app is streamlined, affordable, user-friendly, and provides exceptional coverage. In collaboration with the engineering, product and marketing teams we worked to deliver this product at speed.
